Thermoelastic processes in long hollow conductive non-ferromagnetic cylinder under impulse electromagnetic influence (English)
0 references
A homogeneous cylinder is in the external electromagnetic field prescribed by surface values of the magnetic field intensity \({\mathbf H}= \{0; 0; H_z\}\). Secondary electromagnetic fields in cylinder generate distribution of non-stationary heat sources and volume ponderomotive forces. The system of equations of uncoupled dynamic electromagnetic thermoelasticity is solved in three stages. At the first stage distributions of electromagnetic field, heat sources and ponderomotive forces are determined. Then the thermal field generated by heat sources is found, and at last, thermoelastic state caused by heating and action of ponderomotive forces is determined from equations of thermoelasticity. A numerical example is considered, plots of heat sources density, ponderomotive forces, temperature and stresses are presented.
