Stress state of a plate with two rectilinear collinear cracks by the Reissner theory (English)

Bending of an isotropic plate of constant thickness containing two parallel cracks of different lengths is considered. Self-equilibrated bending couples are applied at crack sides, these sides do not contact. Plate deformation is described by the Reissner theory. Using complex representations of stress resultants the problem is reduced to a singular integral equation with respect to an auxiliary function. The equation is solved numerically by the method of mechanical quadratures. A numerical example is considered, plots of stress concentration factor are presented.
