Application of radial basis functions in dual reciprocity BEM for dynamic analysis of pierced shear walls (English)
0 references
The authors apply the dual reciprocity boundary element method to the analysis of pierced shear walls under dynamic load. Radial basis functions are considered for spatial approximation of physical fields. The suggested radial basis functions turn out to be convenient for free vibration analyses. The results obtained by the proposed method are compared with FEM results. The accuracy obtained for displacements is influenced by the value of frequency.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0970.00025].
