Let \(A\) be an abelian scheme over a scheme \(X\). If \(X\) is the spectrum of the ring of integers of a number field or a smooth projective connected curve over a finite field, then the function field of \(X\), \(K=K(X)\) is a global field, and the Tate-Shafarevich group is defined by \[ \Sha(A/X):= \ker(H^1(K,A)\to \prod_v H^1(K_v,A)) \] (\(v\) runs over all places of \(K\) and \(K_v\) is the completion of \(K\) with respect to \(v\)). The author succeed to give a definition of the Tate-Shafarevich group in the case that \(X\) is a higher-dimensional basis \(X|_{\mathbb{F}_p}\) and prove that it is a generalization one of the classical definition. He also proved some properties of this group. The paper should be considered as the first part of his research followed by his second paper (preprint) entitled: ``On the conjecture of Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer for abelian schemes over higher-dimensional bases over finite fields, where in some cases the finiteness of this (generalized) Tate-Shafarevich group has been proven and a (generalized) Swinnerton-Dyer type conjecture has been settled.
