Fourier transform on the segment and its inversion by transforms with Mittag-Leffler kernels (English)

Using the method of delta-shaped sequences the authors construct an integral transform generated on the set \(I_{n}=\left\{x:\;x\in\bigcup\limits_{j=1}^{n+1}(l_{j-1},l_{j}),\;l_0\geq 0, l_{n+1}=l<\infty\right\}\) by the matrix differential operator \(\partial/\partial t-\sum\limits_{k=1}^{n+1}A_{k}^2\theta(x-l_{k-1})\theta(l_{k}-x)d^2/dx^2\). Here \(A_{k}\) is a matrix with real positive eigenvalues; \(\theta(x)=\begin{cases} 0,& x\leq 0 ,\\ 1,& x>0;\end{cases}\) \(d^2/dx^2\) is a Fourier differential operator. As a delta-shaped sequence the fundamental matrix of the solution of the Cauchy problem for a separate system of heat equations with matrix-valued coefficients is used.
