Spectrum of a special weighted composition operator on some uniform spaces of analytic functions (English)

The author of this very short paper considers a weighted composition operator \(T_1\) on the algebra of continuous functions in the upper half-plane \(H=\{z:\operatorname {Im} z \geq 0\}\), under some special conditions. A weighted composition operator \(T_2\) is obtained by a perturbation of \(T_1\) under some conditions and the spectrum of \(T_1\) is already known. The spectrum of the operator \(T_2\) is investigated. It is shown that the spectrum of the operator \(f\to u.f\circ \phi \) on disc algebra consists of the spiral \(\{u(\infty)e^{i\beta z}:z\geq 0\}\) with the point \(0\) added. Here, \(\phi (z)=z+\beta +\varepsilon (z)\), where \(\operatorname {Im}(\beta+\varepsilon (z))\geq \beta_0>0\), \(\varepsilon (z)\) is a continuous function in the half-plane \(\operatorname {Im}z\geq 0\) and analytic in \(H^0=\{z\in C: \operatorname {Im} z>0\}\), \(\varepsilon (z)\to 0\) for \(|z|\to \infty \) and \(u\) is the element of the disc algebr.
