Configuration spaces and the topology of curves in projective space (Q2765026)

This paper studies the fundamental groups of the spaces \(\text{Hol}_k(C,P^n)\) and \(\text{Hol}^*_k(C,P^n)\) of holomorphic maps of a genus \(g\) Riemann surface \(C\) into the complex projective space \(P^n\) having degree \(k\), with * being base point preserving maps. The main assertion is that these coincide with the fundamental groups of the spaces \(\text{Map}_k (C,P^n)\) and \(\text{Map}_k^*(C,P^n)\) of all maps.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0972.00054].
