Enumeration of paths, compositions of integers, and Fibonacci numbers (English)

The number \(T(i,j)\) of certain paths in the first quadrant from the points \(\langle 0,0\rangle\) and \(\langle i,j\rangle\) is introduced. Some modifications of this number are discussed and some of the properties of \(T(i,j)\) are studied.
