Features of accelerated motion of different shaped bodies in water (English)
0 references
The paper presents results of experimental investigations of accelerated motion of revolution body, sphere and rectangular flat plates in water conducted in a vertical hydrodynamic tunnel. The motion of objects is started from the rest and originated by gravity. It is shown, that the nature of motion of each object is individual for each type of objects. At the same time, in all the cases the stage of motion with monotonically varying velocity and acceleration is changed for stage of hitches with sharp oscillations.
