Let \(k\) be a field of characteristic not equal to \(2\). In the paper under review, the author constructs new noncommutative Artin-Schelter regular algebras starting from the four-dimensional Sklyanin algebras, that is, the \(k\)-algebras \(A=A(\alpha,\beta,\gamma)\) generated by degree 1 elements \(x_0\), \(x_1\), \(x_2\) and \(x_3\) and relations \[ \begin{aligned} x_0x_1-x_1x_0-\alpha(x_2x_3 + x_3x_2), \quad x_0x_1+x_1x_0-(x_2x_3 - x_3x_2),\\ x_0x_2-x_2x_0-\beta(x_3x_1 + x_1x_3), \quad x_0x_2+x_2x_0-(x_3x_1 - x_1x_3),\\ x_0x_3-x_3x_0-\gamma(x_1x_2 + x_2x_1), \quad x_0x_3+x_3x_0-(x_1x_2 - x_2x_1), \end{aligned} \] for \((\alpha,\beta,\gamma) \in k^3\) satisfying the condition \(\alpha+\beta+\gamma + \alpha\beta\gamma=0\). These new algebras are constructed from \(A\) by using the Klein four-group \(G=\mathbb{Z}_2\times \mathbb{Z}_2 \subset \mathrm{Aut}_{gr}(A)\) and taking the invariant ring \(A^{G,\mu}=(A \otimes kG_\mu)^G\), with \(k G_\mu\) a cocycle twist of the group algebra \(kG\). A family of fat points of multiplicity two is constructed, parametrized by \(E/G \cong E\), the elliptic curve associated to \(A\). In addition, it is shown that \(A^{G,\mu}\) has 20 point modules under the condition that the automorphism \(\sigma \in \mathrm{Aut}(E)\) associated to \(A\) is of infinite order. The factor ring \(B^{G,\mu}\) is also investigated, using the Artin-Stafford classification of noncommutative curves. This paper is a continuation of the ongoing project of finding noncommutative analogues of \(k[x_0,x_1,x_2,x_3]\). The exposition is very clear, with enough explanation to understand the theorems without the need to look everything up in the literature. Reviewer's remark: As mentioned in the paper under review, the author studies the same algebras as \textit{A. Chirvasitu} and \textit{S. P. Smith} in [Adv. Math. 309, 558--623 (2017; Zbl 1427.16018)], but using different methods.
