On convergence of Newton's method for three-parameter matrix eigenvalue problems (English)
      0 references
The paper deals with the numerical solution of multiparameter eigenvalue problems (MEP). In this respect, the authors extend the one step Newton's method for solving non-linear systems to three-parameter matrix eigenvalue problems of finding approximate eigenvalues and eigenvectors. They derive convergence conditions in terms of matrix 2-norms, and present numerical experiments with the MATLAB software product.
