Three-layer factorized difference schemes and parallel algorithms for solving the system of linear parabolic equations with mixed derivatives and variable coefficients (English)
      0 references
The authors consider a system of nonstationary parabolic equations with first-order boundary conditions and construct a three-layer factorized difference scheme whose solution does not require matrix inversion. The scheme is designed to work effectively on multiprocessing computing systems. The authors obtain a priori error estimates and prove convergence of their method. A pseudocode of their parallel algorithm is given and results of some computations are exhibited.
