This is a text book (tutorial) in complex analysis and is based on the authors' lectures during several years for the students of the department of mechanics and mathematics of the South Ural State University. The manual sets up the methods of the theory of complex analysis used in applied problems (decays of function in series, evaluation of integrals by means of the theory of residues, conformal mappings). In Chapter one, an introduction to complex numbers and functions is given.
