Stressed state of a double curvature shell with two collinear cracks under bending loading (English)
0 references
This paper deals with a double curvature isotropic shell weakened by two collinear through cracks, whose edges are in contact at the shell bending. A solution of the problem is constructed by using the method of singular integral equations and numerical method of mechanical quadratures. A numerical investigation is carried out for the dependences of the intensity factors of forces and moments on the crack sizes, the distance between the cracks and the curvature of the middle surface of the shell.
