Effect of heating on the near-surface inhomogeneity of electrical and mechanical fields in dielectrics (English)
0 references
The authors apply relations of the local gradient theory of dielectrics that allow, for the local mass displacement process, to investigate the stress-strain state and the polarization of a hollow sphere free from force loading. On the sphere surfaces different temperature values are kept. It is shown that the relations of the non-local theory enable one to estimate the effect of the temperature gradient on the near-surface inhomogeneity of stress, the polarization and the bound charge fields. These relations also describe the pyroelectric and thermopolarization effects.
