Modeling of contact interaction of periodically textured solids with allowance for frictional slipping (English)
0 references
The paper deals with a mathematical model of friction contact of solids with periodic surface texture. The interaction occurs in two stages. First, the solids are pressed to each other by a monotonically increasing nominal pressure, and then, nominal shear stresses are applied to the solids resulting in frictional sliding of the surfaces in the gap neighborhoods. The contact problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations for the functions of the intercontact gap heights and relative shift of surfaces in the slip zones. Also, an algorithm for their solution is described.
