Bending vibrations of a thick-walled shell of finite length with sliding fixation of its edges (English)
0 references
The paper deals with a skew-symmetric elasticity theory problem on bending vibrations of a thick-walled shell of finite length with sliding fixation of its edges. The boundary value problem is reduced to an infinite system of second kind singular integral equations. Expressions for amplitude value of relative hoop stress are found depending on the dimensionless wave number variation. Based on the developed analytical algorithm, a numerical experiment is carried out. As a result, a number of graphs are constructed presenting quantitative and qualitative characteristics of bending vibrations of thick-walled shell depending on its geometric parameters and Poisson's ratio of the shell material.
