Axisymmetric resonant vibrations and vibro-heating of thermoviscoelastic cylindrical shell with piezoelectric sensors and actuators (English)

The authors discuss a problem of axisymmetric forced resonant vibrations and dissipative heating of a viscoelastic cylindrical shell with piezoelectric sensors and actuators under monoharmonic loading. The viscoelastic behavior of passive and piezoactive materials is described in terms of complex moduli depending on the vibro-heating temperature. The effect of temperature dependence of the material properties on the dynamic characteristics, vibro-heating temperature, electrical sensor parameters and active modal shell damping by piezoactuator using sensor indicator, is investigated based on numerical calculations.
