Investigation of different statements of sound insulation problem for a rectangular plate surrounded by acoustic media (English)

The authors consider five different statements of the stationary problem of plane sound wave propagation through a rectangular plate. The first one applies an inertial-mass model based on the hypothesis on non-deformability of unfixed rigid plate interacting with incident and emerging plane sound waves in the surrounding half-spaces. The other four statements allow for (with respect to the Winkler base model) or neglect the compliance of the support contour of a hinged rectangular plate, deformed by the Kirchhoff model, use one- or three-dimensional wave equations to describe the motion of acoustic media, and involve the construction of the plate motion equations with allowance for some external damping. The last four statements of the problem enable one to determine the plate sound insulation parameter by constructing smoothed graphical dependencies on frequency whose forms comply with the experimental dependences obtained by sample testing in acoustic laboratory.
