Characterizing the stabilization size for semi-implicit Fourier-spectral method to phase field equations (English)
0 references
In this article the authors consider the numerical analysis of two phase field models (Cahn-Hilliard model and Molecular Beam Epitaxy model). They study the numerical stability of an associated stabilized semi-implicit time-stepping method and prove their unconditional energy stability when the Lipschitz assumption on the nonlinearity is removed.
