A hyperoval in a projective plane of order \(q\) is a set \(H\) of \(q+2\) points such that any line meets \(H\) in \(0\) or \(2\) points. A hyperoval \(H\) is transitive if its stabiliser in the automorphism group of the ambient projective plane acts transitively on its points. In this paper, the classification of transitive hyperovals with groups of order divisible by four is completed, building on the work of \textit{M. Biliotti} and \textit{G. Korchmaros} [Geom. Dedicata 24, 269--281 (1987; Zbl 0633.51005)] and \textit{A. Sonnino} [Australas. J. Comb. 33, 335--347 (2005; Zbl 1085.51015)]. More precisely, the authors describe a computer proof for the fact that a transitive hyperoval of a projective plane of even order that admits a group of order divisible by four is either a regular hyperoval in a Desarguesian plane of order two or four or the Lunelli-Sce hyperoval in the Desarguesian plane of order \(16\).
