The semilocal convergence of the eighth-order iterative method by using the recurrence relations for solving nonlinear equations in Banach spaces is studied. The paper is organized as follows. Section 1 is an introduction. Preliminary results are given in Section 2. Recurrence relations for the method are studied in Section 3. Semilocal convergence analysis is discussed in Section 4. In Section 5, the comparative study of the computational efficiency is presented in case of some existing methods whose similocal convergence analysis has been already discussed. Finally, the numerical application on nonlinear integral equations is given to show the author's approach in Section 6.
