The paper under review uses work of \textit{T. Haettel} [Math. Z. 274, No. 1--2, 573--601 (2013; Zbl 1295.22019)] ``to classify all subgroups of \(\mathrm{PGL}_4(\mathbb{R})\) isomorphic to \((\mathbb{R}^3, +)\), up to conjugacy.''NEWLINENEWLINETwo theorems are shown. Theorem 0.1 shows that each cusp Lie group in \(\mathrm{PGL}_4(\mathbb{R})\) is conjugate to exactly one of four types of groups.NEWLINENEWLINETheorem 1.1 shows that in \(\mathrm{PGL}_4(\mathbb{R})\) there are precisely 15 conjugacy classes of subgroups isomorphic to \((\mathbb{R}^3,+)\).
