Several authors have considered the Ricci flow on non-compact Riemannian manifolds. When specializing to Kähler Ricci flow, most short-time existence results require some bounds on the sectional curvature of the initial metric. There are also results about the curvature of the limit metric, which is also Kähler in general. In the present paper, the authors relax the conditions on the initial metric. In particular, they require only the initial metric to by a \(C_0\) Hermitian limit of Kähler metrics of bounded curvature. Then they obtain a short-time existence with a limit which is a complete Kähler metric. If in addition one requires the initial metric to have bounded curvature and be close to a metric with bounded hoomorphic bisectional curvature, then the limit also has a bounded curvature. In the particular case of \(U(n)\)-invariant complete initial metric on \(\mathbb C^n\) which has non-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature, the solutions for the flow exist for all time and the limit metric also has a non-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature.
