The self-contained article discusses the action of permutations on Feynman graphs. In the preliminaries Section II, all necessary ingredients are defined in a detailed way such that also the non-expert gets the basic knowledge on graphs, Feynman graphs, 1PI graphs, trees and forests. The pedagogic review continues with Feynman graph polynomials and the Hopf algebra of rooted trees. As the topic thankfully allows, everything is accompanied with illustrative figures.NEWLINENEWLINEIncreasingly more detailed and technical, the following sections give a short introduction into parametric renormalization and the signed graph permutations which are the actual core of that work.NEWLINENEWLINEUnfortunately, style and notation are very far away from typical applications in phenomenological quantum field theory. A direct impact on the existing techniques of handling Feynman integrals seems not apparent although understanding the symmetries of Feynman graphs may help to vastly simplify the calculations.
