Let \((A_{0}, A_{1})\) be a compatible couple of quasi-normed spaces, i.e., both \(A_{0}\) and \(A_{1}\) are continuously embedded in some Hausdorff topological vector space. The authors define the \(K\)-functional of Peetre and the \(K\)-interpolation space \(A_{\Phi} = (A_{0}, A_{1})_{\Phi}\), where \(\Phi \) is some quasi-normed space of Lebesgue measurable functions. Using the Holmstedt's argument they formulate three theorems in which explicit formulae for \(K\) are proposed. These theorems are illustrated by two examples. As a consequence, three reiteration theorems are derived.
