Biaxial bending of isotropic plate with a through rectilinear crack with allowance for the width of its faces contact zone and in the presence of plastic zones near its tips (English)
0 references
The authors state and solve a problem of biaxial bending of an isotropic plate with a rectilinear crack through the thickness. The crack faces are in contact along the area of constant width and the plastic zones are formed near the crack tips. Using the Tresca plasticity condition in the form of a surface layer or a plastic hinge, the plastic zone length is determined and the crack opening displacements near its tips are found. A numerical analysis of the problem is carried out.
