Perturbation semigroup of matrix algebras (Q283240)

A perturbation semigroup \(\mathrm{Pert}({\mathcal A})\) of the unital associative \(\ast\)-algebra \({\mathcal A}\) was introduced in [\textit{A. H. Chamseddine} et al., J. Geom. Phys. 73, 222--234 (2013; Zbl 1284.58014)]. In the paper under review, the authors calculate \(\mathrm{Pert}({\mathcal A})\) for finite-dimensional matrix \(\ast\)-algebras over the fields of complex and real numbers and the quaternions.
