The present author introduced parity theory in [Sb. Math. 201, No. 5, 693--733 (2010; Zbl 1210.57010)]. As an application to virtual knot theory he gave parity conditions for virtual knots and for free knots and showed for example that there are infinitely many inequivalent free knots, thus answering a problem of \textit{V. Turaev}, who conjectured that all free knots are trivial [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 95, No. 2, 360--412 (2007; Zbl 1145.57018)].NEWLINENEWLINEIn the article under review, the author develops further this parity theory. He constructs new parities for two-component virtual and free links. He also uses the parity bracket and Turaev cobracket to construct invariants of free links and gives an illustration with some examples. One can use the new parities in many problems where parities were already previously applied.
