The textbook contains chapters from quantum mechanics that are usually not in the standard courses on quantum mechanics: the mathematical postulates underlying quantum mechanics; two-state systems; entanglement in quantum systems (qubits, quantum gates, teleportation, Bells' inequality, large-scale quantum algorithms and so on); quantum angular momentum, quantum many-body problem. The reader may find some excursions outside the more usual topics presented in standard quantum mechanics textbooks. It is possible to use this book as launch-pads for investigations of their own. The textbook contains relevant results from linear algebra.
