The author constructs the Laurent phenomenon algebras whose cluster variables satisfy the discrete BKP equation, the Somos-7, and several other difference equations. These Laurent phenomenon algebras are constructed from the seed with a generalization of the mutation-period property. The author studies the seed of the discrete BKP equation and several difference equations associated with reductions of this seed.
