Transport equation in the case of a point source at the center of a ball (English)

Isotropic scattering of a radiation in a homogeneous sphere is examined. The radiation point source is at the centre of the sphere. The source function satisfies an integral equation over a finite interval with a sum-difference kernel, and a non-integrable free term. The existence and uniqueness of the solution is proved.
