About Kac's program on mean-field limits (English)

The paper presents several classical and new results concerning the mean-field limit in the kinetic gas theory. The author introduces the basic models (the Vlasov equation, the McKean-Vlasov equstion, the Boltzmann equation, the Boltzmann-Kac system and the BBGKY hierarchy) and presents some of the classical results.NEWLINENEWLINEThen he introduces several measures of chaos and presents a theorem about their comparison. Next he studies the propagation of the chaos for different models mentioned above.
