In this nice paper, the author deals with the errors of the proofs related to, ``enumeration of objects of a certain kind'' that were made by mathematicians. These types of errors are illustrated by the following famous problems:\newline 1. combinatorial and geometrical existence of \((n_3)\)-configurations,\newline 2. the enumeration of the simple convex 4-polytopes with 8 facets by the corresponding Schlegel diagrams in 3-space,\newline 3. the number of types of isohedral and isogonal tilings of the plane,\newline 4. uniform 3-polyhedra and their polars.
