In the frameworks of the Bio porous-elastic theory, the authors propose a mathematical model of the formation of the penetration zone of the drilling solution at borehole drilling under quasistatic stresses. Growth of the clay cork at the walls of the borehole is considered as well as its impact on the pore pressure and on the deformation of porous skeleton. Hydrodynamic and stress-strain characteristics of the borehole area are investigated both analytically and numerically.
