Let \(f:[a, b]\to \mathbb{R}\) be a differentiable function with \(f'(a)=f'(b)\). Then there exists a point \(c\in (a, b)\), called a Flett point of \(f\) such that \(f(c)-f(a)=(c-a)f'(c)\). \textit{M. Das} et al. [Appl. Math. Lett. 16, No. 3, 269--271 (2003; Zbl 1047.39018)] investigated the stability of the Flett points of continuously differentiable functions. In this paper, the authors prove the stability property of Flett points in the more general case of simply differentiable functions \(f\), given up the continuity condition of \(f'\).
