A classical problem in Group Theory is to obtain information on the structure of a group admitting a factorization from the structure and properties of its factors. This paper concerns the relation between the Fitting length of a solvable group that is factorized as the product of Hall subgroups and the Fitting length of the factors. A recent paper by \textit{C. Casolo, E. Jabara} and \textit{P. Spiga} [J. Group Theory 17, No. 5, 911-924 (2014; Zbl 1306.20008)] establishes that if a solvable group \(G\) can be written as \(AB\), where \(A\) and \(B\) are Hall subgroups of \(G\), then the Fitting length of \(G\), \(h(G)\), can be bounded by a function of \(h(A)\), \(h(B)\) and \(d(B)\), where \(d(B)\) is the derived length of \(B\). However, it is known that one cannot give an upper bound for \(h(G)\) as a function of \(h(A)\) and \(h(B)\) only, because there exist groups of arbitrary Fitting length that can be factorized by two Sylow subgroups. The paper under review provides certain upper bounds for the Fitting length of a solvable group \(G\) as functions of the Fitting length of at least three Hall subgroups of \(G\), when \(G\) is a solvable group admitting a particular factorization. More precisely, if \(A\), \(B\) and \(C\) are Hall subgroups of \(G\) such that \(G=AB=BC=CA\) (in this case \(G\) is said to be trifactorized), then there is an upper bound for \(h(G)\) depending on \(h(A)\), \(h(B)\) and \(h(C)\) only. Moreover, if \(G\) is \(k\)-factorized by Hall subgroups, with \(k\geq 3\), such upper bound gets better as \(k\) increases.
