    The authors consider the following Navier boundary value problem \[ \begin{cases} \Delta^2u(x)+c\Delta u = f(x,u) & \text{ in } \Omega\cr u=\Delta u = 0 & \text{ on } \partial\Omega \end{cases} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^N, N>4\) is a bounded domain and \[ \lim_{|t|\to 0}\frac{f(x,t)}{t}=p(x),\qquad \lim_{|t|\to \infty}\frac{f(x,t)}{t}=q(x)\qquad \forall \;x\in\Omega\,. \] It is established existence of multiple solutions by using the minimax method and Morse theory.
