Some notes on the sectional fibrations (Q284615)

In this paper the authors consider the two main problems related to sections of a given fibration \(p : E\to B\), their existence and, in case of existence, the rational homotopy type of the space of sections. Here the existence problem is first transformed into algebraic terms. In particular when \(B\) is a formal space, the existence is equivalent to the non-triviality of the geometric realization of a given commutative differential graded algebra associated to the minimal Sullivan model of \(p\).NEWLINENEWLINEThe second main result of the paper is the construction of an explicit Lie model for the space of sections of \(p\). This is obtained by using localization methods and the previous results of \textit{U. Buijs} et al. [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 361, No. 10, 5601--5614 (2009; Zbl 1180.55008)].
