This is a rather rich paper on coherent and squeezed states. The authors construct these states for exactly solvable quantum system adopting a generalized version of what they call ``ladder-operator'' and ``displacement-operator'' methods, and they discuss the relations between the two alternatives. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEAfter a first section, devoted to a concise review on the algebraic formulation for some exactly solvable systems, the authors discuss generalized coherent and squeezed states, and the analogue, in their framework, of the displacement and of the squeeze operators. This analysis is carried out considering several aspects of these objects like, for instance, the quantum statistical properties of the states.NEWLINENEWLINEAfter this general analysis, they discuss several examples for shape-invariant systems with a potential which is parameter-dependent, and where the parameters are related to some translation and some scaling.
