On dual of Banach sequence spaces (Q2850108)

The authors investigate a class of Banach (weighted \(\ell _1\)-type) sequence spaces \(X_{\alpha ,1}\), introduced in [\textit{P. Azimi} and \textit{J. N. Hagler}, Pac. J. Math. 122, 287--297 (1986; Zbl 0609.46012)]. They show that the dual \(X^*_{\alpha ,1}\) contains asymptotically isometric copies of \(\ell _{\infty}\) and that it is nonseparable although \(X_{\alpha ,1}\) is a separable Banach space.
