One remark concerning double-infinite Toda lattice (English)
0 references
A spectral method for finding a solution of the Cauchy problem for a semi-infinite Toda lattice was proposed by the author [Rep. Math. Phys. 24, No. 1, 21--47 (1986; Zbl 0652.35098)], and then extended to the case of the double-infinite Toda lattice [Methods Funct. Anal. Topol. 18, No. 1, 19--54 (2012; Zbl 1245.65131)]. In the paper under review, the author shows that, instead of a differential system for the spectral matrix, it is convenient to consider its power matrix moment interpretation, which is equivalent to the initial system. The corresponding moments can be found successively, which gives a more effective way of finding a solution of the Cauchy problem for the double-infinite Toda lattice.
