A unified discontinuous Petrov-Galerkin method and its analysis for Friedrichs systems (English)
0 references
The authors propose a unified framework for the discontinuous Petrov-Galerkin (DPG) method based on Friedrichs-like systems, which embrace a large class of elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations. The existence, uniqueness and stability of the PDG solution is established corresponding to two different, but equivalent, norms.
