In the paper, the authors study an extended Riemann hypothesis proposed by \textit{V. G. Sprindzhuk} in [Acta Arith. 27, 317--332 (1975; Zbl 0308.10024)], which states that, for non-principal Dirichlet character \(\chi\), the zeros of \(L\)-function \(L(s,\chi)\), \(s=\sigma+it\), lie on the critical strip \(\sigma=\frac{1}{2}\). They give the conditions when it is as a consequence of main RH.NEWLINENEWLINEThe authors prove that if, for every \(\varepsilon>0\) and constant \(A\), the von Mangoldt function \(\Lambda(n)\) and a rational number \(\varphi\) satisfy following asymptotic equality NEWLINE\[CARRIAGE_RETURNNEWLINE \sum_{n \leq x} \Lambda(n)\exp\{2 \pi i \varphi n\}=Ax+O(x^{1/2+\varepsilon}), CARRIAGE_RETURNNEWLINE\]NEWLINE then, for every Dirichlet character \(\chi\), in the half-plane \(\sigma>\frac{1}{2}\), the zeros of \(L\)-function \(L(s,\chi)\) are zeros of any entire functions defined by Dirichlet series with periodic coefficients.
