Decompositions of \(\tau_\mathcal G\)--continuity and continuity (English)

With ``grills'', a favorite tool of topologists for several decades, the authors investigate the notion of weakly \(G\)-locally closed sets which has been introduced by them; an example of a weakly \(G\)-locally closed set but not locally closed is provided; it is shown that a subset \(A\) of a grill topological space \((X,\tau,G)\) is open iff \(A\) is weakly-\(G\)-LC and \(G\)-preopen.NEWLINENEWLINE The new concept of strongly \(G\)-locally closed set is provided; it is shown that, in a grill topological space \((X,\tau,G)\), if a subset \(A\) is regular open, then it is strongly \(G\)-LC; by an example, it is also shown that the converse is not true, in general.NEWLINENEWLINE With the help of the newly introduced sets, some continuous-like mappings are introduced and some new decompositions of continuity are obtained. In an ``addition'' in Art 6, a relation between grill and ideal is described.
