Inverse semigroups and Sheu's groupoid for the odd dimensional quantum spheres (Q2861283)

The author uses the theory of inverse semigroups developed by \textit{R. Exel} [Bull. Braz. Math. Soc. (N.S.) 39, No. 2, 191--313 (2008; Zbl 1173.46035)] to reconstruct \textit{A. J. L. Sheu}'s groupoid [Q. J. Math., Oxf. II. Ser. 48, No. 192, 503--510 (1997; Zbl 0992.46060)] and to regain the fact that the odd-dimensional quantum spheres are groupoid \(C^{*}\)-algebras.
