Free paratopological groups. II (Q2862938)

The author treats Graev free paratopological groups together with Markov free paratopological groups \(FP(X)\) since these are Graev free paratopological groups \(FP_{G}(X\oplus{e})\) on the space \(X\oplus{e}\). He proves that a Graev free paratopological group on the topological space \(X\) is indiscrete if and only if \(X\) is indiscrete. Moreover, a space \(X\) is discrete if and only if the Graev free paratopological group or the Markov free paratopological group on \(X\) is indiscrete. For discrete or for Alexander spaces \(X\) both of these groups are locally invariant, whereas for Tychonoff spaces containing a nontrivial sequence converging to a point of \(X\) it is not true. At the end of the paper the author gives another proof for the existence of the Markov free paratopological group \(FP(X)\) by embedding the space \(X\) in an infinite direct product of paratopological groups.
