The discontinuous finite volume element method and numerical simulations of two-dimensional semi-linear pseudo-parabolic equations (English)
0 references
The fully discrete finite volume element method for a certain type of two-dimensional semi-linear pseudo-parabolic equations has been studied by \textit{F. Chen} et al. [J. Shandong Normal Univ. 28, 37--40 (2013)]. An optimal error estimation in the \(L^2\)-norm and the discrete \(H^1\)-norm is obtained by defining a Ritz-Volterra mapping of this problem. A numerical illustration is also presented.
