In this book in Dutch the seven millennium prize problems, stated in the year 2000 by the Clay Mathematics Institute, are treated in an informal way. The Poincaré-conjecture was proved by Perelman in 2003 while the other six remain unsolved. The four authors explain the seven ``million dollar problems'' in a pleasant and accessible manner.
