Analysis of two parareal algorithms for time-periodic problems (Q2870650)

The paper studies two parareal algorithms for time-periodic problems: one with a periodic coarse problem and one with a non-periodic coarse problem. The authors prove for both linear and nonlinear problems the convergence of the new algorithms, with linear bounds on the convergence. These results are extended to partial differential equations using Fourier techniques. Numerical examples are also provided to illustrate the analysis.
